Poverty in Durham is an online hub to learn about services, research and programs designed to address the social, psychological, safety, accessibility and health effects of poverty in Durham. We are a coalition of service providers who work in health care, housing support, food security, mental health, emergency shelters and more.
Established in 2014, we aim to:
- Raise awareness of issues of poverty in Durham
- Provide a centralized list of services and resources available to low-income Durham residents
- Increase collaboration among Durham service providers to improve client experience
This initiative is brought to you by the Community Development Council of Durham.
